Sav then moved to The Godz band house in Hollywood, California. By 1990 Sav's band Vaudville was labeled The Kings of the Sunset Strip (Rock City News). Selling out every major rock club in Hollywood many times over. Eric met with Sav before his passing and said, "KEEP THE GODZ MUSIC ALIVE, BOY!!" Funny how things work out. Sav abuses Fender and Hard Luck Kings basses, Shure microphones, Stringjoy strings and Ampeg amps .

Guitar & Vocals
Eric Mauk
Eric Mauk has played guitar since the 4th grade with some life changing experiences early on. Around the 7th grade, Styx played at the Secrest Auditorium in Zanesville, Ohio after the release of their album Equinox. As a result of seeing this show, James Young (lead guitarist for Styx) instilled the love of a Fender Stratocaster through a wall of Marshall amps in the young Eric. Shortly thereafter, Eric's father took him to Columbus to buy his first decent guitar at the String Shop on High Street. While there, Eric met the guitar tech for REO Speedwagon who introduced himself after hearing Eric play "Riding the Storm Out" while trying out a guitar. The guitar tech gave Eric and his dad two all access backstage passes for the REO show that evening. That night, Eric met Gary Richrath and got to play his '59 Les Paul. The die was cast for his life pursuit of music and guitar that continues to this day as an obsession. Moving to New York City at the age of 20, Eric landed a brief gig with the band the CBS recording artist Riot as well as playing on the album Privilege Of Power. Upon returning to Ohio, Eric met up with Eric Moore through a connection with guitarist Tyrus BeeBe and played with the Godz for the majority of the 90s. Eric was the lead guitarist for The Godz for the with the line up of Eric Moore, Matt Mees, and Tyrus Beebe. Ironically Eric got the gig by being remembered as the guy who could play the solo from "Cross Country" in a Zanesville based cover band over a decade prior. During this period, the band played countless shows in Ohio, the East coast, and circuit that ran from Ohio to Texas and back opening for Blue Oyster Cult, Foghat, Dokken, Jackyl, Nazareth, and others. During this time-frame, the original band re-grouped for the recording of Greatest Hits Live which was recorded at the Alrosa Villa in Columbus, Ohio. Eric filled in for Bob Hill for this project. After The Godz had broken up, Eric was the lead guitarist for Columbus based party band The Jack performing countless central Ohio gigs for 6 years. Eric's favorite quote, "I'll tell ya folks, it's harder than it looks, it's a long way to the top if you wanna rock n roll!" Being a self proclaimed gear junkie, Eric primarily uses Ceriatone, Synergy, Bray, and Marshall amplifiers, Rock n Roll Relics, LSL, Knaggs, Fender, and Gibson guitars.
